This has been one of my FAVORITE design projects! A condo in Port A with window walls facing the ocean both upstairs and downstairs. Phenomenal. However, it had not been updated since the 80's. We sat down and went over her dream for this place. Her heart was set on Texas Gulf vibes & colors. The kitchen was expanded, built-ins were added to the downstairs entry, and new floor plans were incorporated for the upstairs bathrooms & built-ins in the guest room. Using a light, barely-there mint on the walls, turquoise accents & various colors and materials inspired by nature and the beach itself, she got her dream house! The upstairs master suite is perfect for a getaway for mom & dad with a coffee/wet bar, TV, living space area, and incredibly comfortable king size bed where you don't even have to get out of bed to stare at the ocean and the best part... the balcony. In Texas, there aren't many properties like this when it comes to beach vacations. The condo complex provides 3 pools (1 heated), a hot tub, grills & a swim-up bar, and a boardwalk that makes the walk to the beach a quick trip.
